Tyler chose the same inspiration as his Aunt JoAnn Abbott. Nonetheless, Tyler had his own ideas of exactly what the bug eyes should look like, and got to paint a holographic paper bag with black spray paint to get the look he wanted for the interior. Aunt JoAnn showed him how to use a power drill to put the holes in the "eyes" and how to use a hot glue gun to sew them on, but the lion’s share of the work was done by this budding artist. Tyler also created the name of his piece.
